Project Overview

We worked with Pioneer Floor Coverings Design Center to provide them with an elegant and modern upgrade to their branding, signage, and interior decor. Pioneer Flooring is a multi-material business and the high-quality but comfortable retail space. Modern gray colors accented by a warm wood texture establish a clean and wholesome feeling, while also giving an homage to the Southern Utah landscape. There are many diverse qualities that make up the Pioneer Floor Coverings & Design Center brand, creating a brand identity that is ultimately classy and confident. 

Logo

The Pioneer Floor Coverings & Design Center logo is a classy and modern visual representation of what the brand embodies. When the bold serif font and simple san-serif font are paired together, they create a strong contrast and convey the true nature of the Brand’s identity. The three logo variations offer flexible options when determining what product they will be used with. The three variations include a black option, a white and tan option, and an all white option. Typography

Typography is an essential element used in brand identity. It creates a visual image through text and hierarchy. Two main typefaces are used in partnership to create a strong and cohesive brand for Pioneer Floor Coverings & Design Center. Style, size, weight, and typography indicate the importance of messages that are being relayed through the Brand. All Brand communications should have a clear title, header, and body text.

A classy serif font - ‘Grad’ is utilized for the main headers and is found in the logo image. The body font is a simple and clean san-serif called ‘Euphemia.’ These two pair well when used correctly within the Brand guidelines.

Having a consistent use of color is necessary for a strong brand identity for Pioneer Floor Coverings and Design Center. Primary Brand colors include a modern gray, sandy tan, white, and black. Secondary colors are all cohesive with the main colors, creating a consistent look and feel for the Brand and its communications. Branded textures are also used to create depth in contrast with Brand colors and design elements.
